Meet the Teacher

Classes are taught by Michael Friedman, who has studied and performed improv comedy at the Aloha Theatre, The World's Greatest Improv School, Queen City Comedy, and the Orange County Improv Festival. He has played with The Hi Line, HI-larious, and (the non-HI-prefaced team) Brief Manifesto. Around Kona town, he's known for frequenting small cafes on weekends and hosting the nerdy night at Ola Brew as everyone's favorite trivia host that isn't Ronnie Velveta. Michael loves performing and continuing to learn about improv through classes, shows, books, podcasts, and funny friends around the world.
